Meet Shreya Agarwal - Your Partner in Growth & Healing
My Journey into
Psychotherapy
My journey into psychotherapy began with a deep curiosity about human behaviour. This interest blossomed into a passion during my Master’s studies, where I learned about psychology beyond textbooks. A pivotal moment in my journey was at TISS-BALM, where I lived with women with psychosocial disabilities, gaining profound insights into mental health and empathy for those facing significant challenges.
Experience & Background
Over the past eight years, I’ve worked in diverse settings, including NGOs, hospitals, schools, corporates, and private practice. My work has been focused on breaking the stigma around mental health and educating people. I believe in honoring each person’s unique life context, which helps me guide them through their personal healing journey.
My Approach to
Therapy
I use an integrative approach which is trauma-informed, queer-sensitive, and solution-focused approach. I emphasize on the mind-body connection as a core element of healing. Using Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and psychoanalytical approach, I explore how past experiences shape current behaviours and address each client’s unique needs, helping them work through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Who I work with &
Where?
I work with adults aged 18 to 60, offering individual, couple, and group therapy. My practice is inclusive and culturally sensitive, welcoming clients from all backgrounds. I offer both online and in-person sessions, allowing clients to join from the comfort of their homes or at my office in Delhi or Gurgaon.
